"GREAT JOB." — Lalah Hathaway, Five-time Grammy Winner, after hearing Rebecca Soul perform.

Rebecca Soul is a French-Canadian and Spanish vocalist whose music explores the complexities of being a woman in today’s world, with an emphasis on reclaiming one’s power. Her voice blends R&B, pop, and jazz influences, creating a sound that is both powerful and unique. Rebecca tackles difficult subjects in her lyrics, drawing from personal experiences with assault to address broader societal challenges faced by women. Yet, she balances these themes with fun, empowering anthems that celebrate resilience, strength, and joy.

In 2019, Rebecca participated in a cover of Roger Waters' "Amused to Death," a project that garnered 5.5 million views on YouTube. In 2020, she was selected for an exclusive master class by Grammy-winning jazz vocalist Kurt Elling. She reached the finals of the international pop singing competition ‘Flair XL’ in 2021 and won the Canadian singing competition ‘Trois Pistoles en Chanson’. In 2022, she shared the stage with Chuck Rainey and Lalah Hathaway before an audience of 7,000 people. In August 2024, she performed the national anthem at Fenway Park in front of a crowd of 37,000.

Rebecca's dedication to her craft extends beyond the stage. She completed her preparatory studies in Violin Performance at the Montreal Conservatory of Music and earned her artist diploma in Voice Performance from Lionel Groulx College in 2020. Currently studying at Berklee College of Music on a full scholarship, Rebecca received the prestigious Alex Ulanowski Award in 2022 for "outstanding academic performance" in the Jazz Composition department. She has also completed Levels 1 and 2 of the Estill Voice Training program, a world-renowned system for vocal development, achieving Estill Figure Proficiency (EFP) certification in 2023.

As the president of the award-winning a cappella group ‘Pitch Slapped’, which has appeared on shows such as NBC’s ‘The Sing-Off’ and ‘America’s Got Talent’, Rebecca leads a group that has collaborated with artists like Charlie Puth and Pentatonix. Notable alumni include Matt Sallee of Pentatonix, Lizzy McAlpine, Bobby Bass, and members of Tiny Habits. Recently, Rebecca was awarded a scholarship from the Music Business Association for her contributions to the industry. She is also gearing up for the release of her debut EP in 2025, which aims to empower and inspire while advocating for women's rights.
